Raul (Mike) Chavez and Joseph Chavez
Owners
Mike began his career as a laborer in seal coating and worked alongside his father for over 16 years. He has extensive knowledge of asphalt maintenance and machinery. Mike is not just an owner but also a strong and dedicated worker. During his downtime, you can find him at home spending time with his wife and five children. His hobbies and interests include sports, particularly football and basketball. When he is not watching a game on the big screen, you can catch him taking one of his children to a practice or a game.
Joseph started his career as a laborer in seal coating and worked his way up to become a foreman. Later, he became one of the owners of Northwest Asphalt. Over the past 16 years, Joe has gained extensive experience in management, asphalt repair and maintenance, striping, power washing, and more. Joe leads by example, And he is not only an owner but also a worker. You can often find him working on the job site alongside his team.
​During Joe's downtime, you can find him enjoying time with his wife and two children. Some of Joe's interests and hobbies include watching movies, collecting things, and exploring new places.
Raul Chavez, Sr
Foreman
Raul Sr. started his career as a laborer in seal coating more than twenty years ago. He is an expert in his field and always finds new ways to help. Raul takes pride in his work and has been with Northwest Asphalt since its inception. In his free time, Raul works on the hazelnut farm he helps manage and enjoys spending time with his family. Raul's hobbies include going to rodeos (he used to be a bull rider) and riding his tractor in the fields to unwind.
